REVIEW : Everyday Heroes -- Everyday Heroes (EP, 2016)

Everyday Heroes is a new four-piece heavy rock band form South Wale and last year they presented their debut self-titled EP.  This hard rocking machine is ready for big things and that's a thing that is reflected in every single moment of this 4-track EP.

Their influences? For sure a lot; but they, also, achieve to put their own identity in their music and at the end they create a strong blend of pure and ass-kickin' hard rock stuff that to be honest impressed me a lot!!! After winning a tough battle of the bands contest at the legendary Fuel Rock Club in Cardiff, the boys were invited to play at Steelhouse Festival 2016 - the biggest show any of them had ever taken part in! There, they shared the stage with rock legends including Thunder, The Darkness and The Answer.

Heavenly influenced by great acts such as Guns N' Roses, Thunder, Nickelback, Black Stone Cherry and Theory Of A Madman, Everyday Heroes music is simply marvelous. It's heavy, it's groovy and their front-man reminds a bit of Chad Kroeger (Nickelback).

"Honey" kicks-off things here impressively! Heavy riffing, powerful and in-your-face vocals and tons of attitude!! Imagine Nickelback at its best and you'll get a picture of this superb tune!! "Beauty Queen" is yet another killer song out of this EP! Bigger, louder and with a bad-ass chorus in it this one is simply breathtaking! "Better Off" includes a more classic hard rock sound while in "Delilah" the band offers a monster track (again!!!).

Great stuff!!! Ass-kickin' heavy rock with attitude, balls and power!!

Rating : 9/10
