REVIEW : LIVERBOX --- Rock N'Roll Salvation (City Of Lights Records, June 2018)

Liverbox is a Finnish glam/hard rock band and "Rock N' Roll Salvation" is entitled its debut album that will see the light of day this June through City Of Lights Records. The album was recorded at the Wah Wah Studios in Oulu, Finland, and was produced by Kari Vähäkuopus, who previously worked with metal bands like Burning Point and Catamenia.
The sound of Liverbox is pure Glam/sleaze hard rock that it's heavenly influenced by bands such as Dogs D'Amour and Faster Pussycat.

The opening tune of "Falling Apart" is just awesome!! A punchy rocker with tons of attitude that makes you wanna push the repeat button again and again. A great appetizer that made me curious of what to expect next. In "Blackbird '72", "Now Or Never" and "Sick Love" the band delivers some excellent rock 'n' roll stuff in an old-fashioned way that I like it a lot!!

The groovier "Let's Go!(All The Way)" is solid while in "Savior Of Rock N' Roll" we have a killer track. This one could be easily appear in any of Dogs D'Amour early record. For damn sure, this tune will make the Dogs very very proud!!! The fast-paced "Wet And Wild" will kick your ass and the rockier "Everlasting Fire" closes this debut nicely.

LIVERBOX with their debut, "Rock N' Roll Salvation", delivers a damn solid, in-your-face and with attitude rock album that can't be missed by the fans of the mid 80's glam/hard rock scene and bands such as Faster Pussycat, Dogs D'Amour and Guns N Roses.

Rating : 8,4/10
