REVIEW : PLASTIC TEARS --- Angels With Attitude (City Of Lights Records, 2018)

After the pretty solid album by LIVERBOX, it comes PLASTIC TEARS' newest effort to shake things once again. "Angels With Attitude" is entitled the band's third official release through City Of Lights Records that will see the light of day this June.
Plastic Tears is a band that is heavenly influenced by bands such as Dogs D'Amour, Hanoi Rocks, Bai Bang and Pretty Boy Floyd. It's a glam heavy rock band with tons of attitude, clever hooks n' choruses, crunchy guitars and a singer that knows how to deliver sleaze and in-your-face vocals.

"Dark Passenger" kicks-off things here in a very Pretty Boy Floyd-esque vibe! This tune sounds like it jumped out from "Leather Boyz With Electric Toyz" album and, for damn sure, this one will make your day! "Secret Society" and "Iris Kick " has this early Dogs D'Amour feeling in it (love both tracks!!!) while in "Rhythm Rider" the band delivers one of the album's highlights! This is about a more straight forward rocker that includes a killer harmony in it and a brilliant chorus line. Other highlights here are the edgier "Nuclear Nights", "Blue Angel" and the rock 'n' roll hymn of "Miss Stumbling Legs".

If you missed the Glam Hard Rock scene of the mid-80's and bands like Faster Pussycat, Dogs D'Amour and Pretty Boy Floyd, then look no further; PLASTIC TEARS will make your day!!!

Rating : 8,5/10
